Another One Bites the Dust

Another One bites the dust. The Locked Door By Freida McFadden was not as good as her other book about the maid that I read. I think I got up to chapter 2 and I was done. I could not get into this book. It's about a woman who's now a surgeon. She is haunted by her father who happen to be a serial killer. The father when you start reading is now in jail. But the killing of women are still taking place. Who's killing women now the same way her father use to kill them. when they labeled him the Handyman. The book got great reviews  but I just could not get into to it. If you have read this book. Maybe I am missing something. Share your thoughts with me about this book or any books you have read.

Here's Another One

People have read and raved about this book An American Marriage By Tayari Jones. I tried to read it and nothing. I could not get pass the 5th chapter. It didn't hold my interest. The story if you have not already read it is about the voices of the three main characters, Celestial, Roy, and Andre, over a period of years from college, marriage, incarceration, and exoneration. The rating are high on this book and it's an Oprah bookclub book. But it was not my kind of book. If you have read this book, what did you think?
