Hello, My Book Lovers and Movie Watchers
How are you today? Most importantly, what are you reading today? I was trying to read this book, On A Mission by Michael Moore, T.C. Littles & Blacc Topp. The first story by Ms Micheal Moore, which I happen to like her stories. The first story in the book was about a couple called Marley and Marco. Marley left her life to live with Marco, who was a hustler in the street. Marley had a full scholarship to a very good college, and she came from a middle-class family in Detroit. She gave that all up to be with Marco. Marco grew up in the street where his mother was a hustler and trained Marco to be one. His mother did some horrible things to him when he was a kid. The relationship between Marley and Marco was going strong. They had been together three years, and he was her everything, and she was his ride or die woman. But both of them had different ways they wanted to live their lives. which put a strain on their relationship. This story was getting good, but it stopped like a third way into the story. Then you get introduced to another author and their story. This is where the disappointment comes in; they should let the reader know that the stories in this book are just teasers for the reader. I hate when authors do that, so what I did was stop reading the book altogether. If I can't finish the story, what's the point of reading it, right?
So be aware that this book is a teaser for the reader, so that you can buy the book and finish reading where you left off. So disappointing.

So, what are you reading for November? Anything good? Well, whatever it is share it here with me you know I love to read a good book.
Happy Reading
Happy November. So, what are you reading this month? I tried to read A Time for Mercy By John Grisham. I love some of his books, some not so much. This is about a 16-year-old that accused of killing a local deputy in a small town in Mississippi. They want to give the boy the death penalty for it. (This is a kid now) Anyway, the local lawyer, Jake, who lives in the town, is well known. Though he's struggling with his law practice, he takes on hard-to-win cases. He takes over the case of the 16-year-old and tries to defend him against a town bent on killing him. That's as far as I got. I just couldn't read a story about a 16-year-old sentenced to death in a backward town in Mississippi. I love me some Grisham and a lot of his stories involve lawyers in small southern, sometimes racist towns that are not quite like this. If you have read this book, let me know your thoughts on it.
Have a great November Reading Month
Happy Sunday, today's review is on a Book called Justified. It's two short stories written by two different authors; one's De'nesha Diamon & the other Briana Cole. I live my twofer books; it gives the reader a chance to see if she likes the author's writing style and wants to read more of her books. I'll let you know my thoughts on the stories right here. Also, I'm talking to you about the old Series Dynasty, remember that?

Happy October and Happy Halloween. I know I'm early, but I tried to get ready by reading this book, Love By Night (A black vampire Story) by Stina. Ok, where do I start? First, I had high hopes for this book. Since Halloween is coming up, this should be a good read right? Well, it starts off with a woman named Adriah heading to college wanting to pursue a degree in psychology. So, she can deal with families like the one she had. Father was abusive. Mother went crazy after father killed her older brother, who was only 12 at the time. Her younger brother, growing up, was so angry, he kept getting in trouble and was finally sent to juvenile detention until he was 18. After all the drama in her family life, Adirah heads to college to focus on her studies. Then she meets Kesh, who's a vampire King looking for his queen. Did I mention that Adirah sees and feels spirits? Kesh has a covenant of Vampires he rules, that live on the college campus Adirah attends. The vampires are also twenty-something college kids going to school and feeding off the regular campus kids attending the school. Kesh the vampire was born in the 1800s. The problem with this story is that it keeps going back and forth. One minute you're reading about what's happening in the present, and the next you're reading about the past. Then the back of the book stated that the vampire would be another race other than black.
I had such high hope that this was a well-written vampire story that I could sink my teeth into, but it wasn't. The story was too confusing, and the character just wasn't interesting enough. If you're reading a good Halloween story, let me know, and if you have read this book, share your thoughts on it. I would like to hear them
Happy October Reading
