Just to Silly for Me

                                   Hello, all my book Readers and Movie Watchers.

Happy 2026. What are you reading this winter? It's cold out, and you need to be reading something. Well, I read the Mini Shopaholic By Sophie Kinsella. I used to love reading her Shopaholic books. They were fun reads at first. So, when I found this one, I said yes, I'll read it. Since I haven't read her books in years.. I started reading the book, and the Main female character in the book was s a shopaholic, a bad one.  Her husband and two-year-old daughter live with her parents temporarily. Her daughter is a terror. Which she can't control, they just let her do what she wants. Then buys her things to make her shut up.   The story was just too silly for my taste now.  At times, I felt like slapping the main female character because of the stupid things she was doing and getting away with. Her husband, family, and friends all seem to allow it. She reminds me of  A I Love Lucy type of character who means well but always does silly things and gets in trouble for it. Nobody in the book seems to want to put their foot down with her, not even her husband.  They just let the main female charterer do what she wants, and when it all falls apart, they are there to pick up the pieces.   I think the female character in the book is Rebecca.  Anyway, I was almost done with the book until I put it down; I couldn't take the silliness anymore.

                                  Hello, My Book Lovers and Movie Watchers 

Happy 2026! This year's all about the books for me. I want to review good books that not only have interesting stories but are enjoyable reads too. That's one of my book goals for 2026. To make it fun for both of us when it comes to reading books and watching good movies. I just found out The House Maid by Fredia McFadden is now a movie. It came out on  Dec 19th. I can't wait to see it and review it for you. I love McFadden's books

Happy December. Today, we are discussing the book "Crossed" by Emily McIntire. This was a pretty good book that was not only dark, but it also had you question some of the things the Priest in this book was doing. Anyway, here are my thoughts on the book.
