Hello, my Book Lovers and Movie Watchers. Is it hot enough for you today?? New York is over 110 degrees, and Sista is sweating to death. But anyway, here is the short version of the book Bad Blood by Mary Monroe. Don't get me wrong, I love her Lexington, Alabama stories. They are so good. But this one. It was ok. Not one of my better books. The story is about a man named Seth who's guided and spoiled by his family and looking to marry the perfect woman. In comes Rachel, who, overall, was a good woman in Seth's mind. After their marriage, Seth, being a family pleaser, spoiled and very selfish, things turn ugly. In this book your dealing with mental health issues, family drama, relationships, life lessons, all the basic stuff. It was o.k. reading. I've read many better books by Mary, whom I happen to love.
